Airlie, CFCC Seek Board Applicants

The New Hanover County board of commissioners seeks community members to apply for appointments to a handful of county boards. Applications are due June 7 for positions on the Airlie Gardens Foundation Board of Directors, Cape Fear Community College Board of Trustees, Cape Fear Museum Advisory Board, Cape Fear Public Utility Authority, NHC Board of Fire Commissioners (unincorporated area and volunteer fire department representatives who pay NHC fire service district tax), NHC Jury Commission, NHC Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, NHC Board of Social Services and NHC Tourism Development Authority (Tourist Attraction Category).

Applications are available at the Board of Commissioners office located at the New Hanover County Government Center, 230 Government Center Drive, Suite 175, by calling 798-7149, or by visiting the county website: nhcgov.com

Applicants will be considered by the county commissioners’ board at the June 21 meeting.
