There will be several new faces in administrative positions within the New Hanover County School system after the board of education named four new principals, five new assistant principals and a new Title I coach at a meeting earlier this month, according to a news release.

The four new principals are: Regina Wooten (Wilmington Early College High School), Geri Martin (Sunset Park Elementary School), Susan Sellers (Rachel Freeman School of Engineering Elementary School) and Sam Kantrowitz (College Road Early Childhood Center).

The five new assistant principals are: Sabrina Hill-Black (Virgo Preparatory Academy), Luis Cruz (Roland-Grise Middle School), Calvin Miller (Alderman Elementary School) and Leigh Gates (Eaton Elementary School).

The new Title I coach is Jakki Jethro. Title I is a federally funded program designed to improve the academic achievement of disadvantaged students.
