Leadership Wilmington Announces New Class

Thirty-three Wilmington business and community leaders will make up the 2014 Leadership Wilmington class and conduct the Work On Wilmington volunteer project, according to a recent news release.

Leadership Wilmington is a 10-month program of the Wilmington Chamber Foundation intended to educate and motive participants, culminating in the Work on Wilmington class project.

The class members will assemble on Aug. 8 at the Wilmington chamber for orientation.  

Also on Aug. 8, officials are slated to announce the program’s 2013 alumnus of the year award. The finalists are: District attorney Ben David, First Citizens Bank vice president Mitch Lamm and Intracoastal broker Jimmy Hopkins.
