Wilmington Health adds pulmonary, allergy physicians
Wilmington Health Pulmonary and Allergy hired David Green and Daniel Breault.
As pulmonologists, Green and Breault diagnose and treat pulmonary conditions such as chronic bronchitis, emphysema and asthma. They also are members of the practice’s critical care team at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Lydon named senior VP at realty firm
Coldwell Banker Commercial Sun Coast Partners LLC named Chuck Lydon as senior vice president of the brokerage firm. Lydon is a licensed real estate broker with more than 30 years of experience in finance, commercial real estate brokerage, leasing and property management. He has negotiated transactions in the retail, industrial, medical, office, hospitality areas and the financial industry in the disposal of problem real estate.
National group recognizes Brunswick County designer
The American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) named Willie Dalrymple, of J.W. Dalrymple Residential Design Associates Inc. in Brunswick County, designer of the year. Presented by AIBD College of Fellows representative Jannis Vann, the award was in recognition of Dalrymple’s 12 years of service to the AIBD North Carolina Society as president and conference meeting planner.
Lawson named new Rotary president
The Wilmington Rotary Club appointed Rick Lawson as the club’s 98th president. Lawson, who also serves as the executive director of the Children’s Museum of Wilmington, has been a member of the Rotary Club for 29 years. He joined the Wilmington chapter in 2008. Rotary member Don Adkins also was elected Governor of Rotary district 7730, which includes a total of 51 locations in southern North Carolina.
Doctor joins University Physicians
H. Alexander “Sandy” Easley III joined University Physicians, a service of South East Area Health Education Center (SEAHEC). Easley joins University Physicians’ urogynecology division. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law and UNC School of Medicine, Easley completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Duke University Medical Center.
Library hires new staff
The New Hanover County Public Library hired several new employees. Patricia Dew became the new supervisor of the Myrtle Grove and Carolina Beach libraries. Max Nunez is coordinator for the library’s Smart Start/Raising a Reader outreach program in the library’s children outreach staff. Nunez replaced Scooter Hayes, who is working on library events for kids and teens. Raquel Fava is the new literacy coach for the library’s Smart Start/Growing Readers outreach program.
North Brunswick Newcomers Club elects officers
The North Brunswick Newcomers Club elected 12 new officers. The new appointees are: Cathy Boettcher, president; Donna Cunningham, vice president; Don Ullum, activities chairman; Lynn Preston, membership chairman; Bob Hill and Annie Mac Kenzie, newsletter co-chairmen; Carly Dethorn and Shelly Artin, hospitality co-chairmen; Susan Raia and Pat Thompson, publicity co-chairmen; Dennis Oranski, treasurer; and Casey Finn, secretary.
