Week Events: Franchise Workshop, Business Expo And Publishing Seminar

Week Ahead (July 16-20)

Wednesday: A veteran franchise workshop assisting former military personnel in the transition to franchise ownership will be held 9-11 a.m. July 18 in the Cape Fear Community College Health Sciences/Learning Resources Building, Room L-107, 415 N. 2nd St. Admission is free, but pre-registration at www.cfcc.edu/sbc is required.

Thursday: The Chamber Business-to-Business Expo at the Coastline Conference & Event Center will showcase the latest products from Wilmington Chamber of Commerce members. The event will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. July 19, and admission is free. Call April Arellano at 762-2611, ext. 203 for more information.

The Small Business Center at CFCC will host a free seminar on small business publishing and promoting. The seminar is 9 a.m.-noon July 19 and will be held in the Health Science/Learning Resources Building, Room L-107, 415 N. 2nd St. Register at www.cfcc.edu/sbc.

Friday: A networking event and luncheon for Cape Fear Commercial Real Estate Women will be held 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. July 20 at Press 102, corner of 2nd and Dock streets. The guest speaker will be Lori Kilberg. Lunch admission is $25, payable at the door. For more information, go to www.capefearcrew.org.
