Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association announced that Kelly Wiggins is its new director of member services. Wiggins has been in sales and marketing for over 17 years and has worked at the Star News and Focus on the Coast magazine as sales manager.

Don Carmen has been elected to the Cape Fear Coast Chapter Board of Directors of Military Engineering Association. He is quality control manager and federal programs manager for SEPI Engineering and Construction. Carmen received his bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and spent 37 years as a member of the United States Army Corps of Engineers.

Kevin DiLoreto was recently appointed intranet administrator officer at First Bank. DiLoreto, a graduate of Florida Technical College, joined the bank in 2004 and brings 12 years of technology experience to his new position.
