Advertising Firm Viamark Expands To Charleston

By Staff Reports, posted Oct 18, 2016
The local owners of a Wilmington advertising and marketing firm announced Tuesday that they are expanding into the Charleston market.

Bea Raybourne and Gayle Brown are the franchise owners of Viamark in Wilmington and have invested in the Charleston franchise territory, rebranding their agency as Viamark Carolinas, according to a news release.

“This step just made sense for us,” Brown, vice president of Viamark Carolinas, said in the release, which stated that the two also have re-signed with Viamark Advertising for the Wilmington market. “Our existing clients in the area, love for the Lowcountry and passion for our clients and their advertising, all led us to this expansion.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed in the release.

Raybourne and Brown expect to open an office in Charleston with an account executive based there.

“Our plan is to expand both markets, while we maintain and nurture our existing client relationships,” said Raybourne, president of Viamark Carolinas. “With a presence in both markets, we see incredible growth potential and exciting new opportunities with new clients, and an expanding staff."
