Geoffrey Losee, a partner at the Rountree Losee law firm, was chosen to serve as an associate editor for American Maritime Cases.
In the role, Losee is “responsible for monitoring case law developments in North Carolina for important maritime and admiralty law decisions for publication consideration,” according to a news release.
Founded in 1923, American Maritime Cases is used by lawyers researching maritime decisions by federal and state courts, and it also reports on legislative action, administrative law decisions and arbitration decisions, according to its website.
One of Losee’s primary areas of practice is admirality and maritime law, and he was included in The Best Lawyers in America list in 2006 as a N.C. Admiralty Attorney.
