NHRMC Physician Group-Cape Fear Cancer Specialists announced that Lindsey Prochaska has joined the practice.
 
Prochaska, a medical oncologist specializing in breast cancer, most recently completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, where she also completed her residency in internal medicine, according to a news release.
 
She received her medical degree from the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia, and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Meredith College in Raleigh.
 
Prochaska is practicing at Cape Fear Cancer Specialists' Leland office at 509 Olde Waterford Way and at New Hanover Regional Medical Center's Zimmer Cancer Center at 2131 S. 17th St.
