‘Room To Bloom’ Showcases Plantation Village’s Beauty

Sponsored Content provided by Lisa Polanski - Marketing Director, Plantation Village Retirement Community

Plantation Village Spring is undoubtedly the best time of year for a tour of our sprawling 56-acre campus, which is lined with a diverse array of flowering inhabitants – azaleas, rhododendrons, dogwoods, oleanders and wisterias, among others.

That’s why we chose April 5 and 6 as the dates for our annual “Room to Bloom” event, an informative tour of the various floor plans and lifestyle options offered by Plantation Village.

Floor plans start from 721 square feet and go up to nearly 1,700 square feet. A unifying element is a focus on creating a luxurious atmosphere with quality appointments. As a result, many of the residences offer spacious closets, hardwood and tile floors and gourmet kitchens with granite countertops.

With apartment homes, duplexes and villas available, there is something to accommodate a variety of needs and preferences.

Committed to serving the ongoing needs of our residents, Plantation Village offers priority access to the Davis Wellness and Rehab Center, Champions Assisted Living and Davis Health Center – all at a significant discount. Additionally, 30 free days of temporary care are available to our residents each year.

Having “Room to Bloom” means having the peace of mind that comes from knowing there is a 24-hour resident care center located onsite. It also means being free from the drudgery of homeownership.

The monthly fee here includes weekly housekeeping and linen services, as well as interior and exterior maintenance, so there is nothing to worry about except which activity to enjoy, whether it’s trying out a new restaurant or attending an opening night at Thalian Hall. Our full-time community life services director plans activity programming that covers an entire spectrum of interests.

In light of the fact that a recent survey showed seniors with active social lives experience higher levels of happiness and lower levels of stress, Plantation Village provides residents with numerous opportunities to engage with their neighbors. Whether it’s taking part in a group fitness activity, working together to maintain the beautiful garden located onsite or chatting with fellow artisans at the woodworking shop, there is always something to do here.

Providing residents with more free time to engage with their neighbors and make new friends is one of our goals and one of the key points of emphasis for our “Room to Bloom” tour.

After a quick stroll on the walking trail around Blue Heron Lake, it’s easy to see why people say the flowers and shrubs that make our property beautiful are as diverse as the amenities and services we offer. If you would like to stop by during our special “Room to Bloom” event and meet some of the residents that make Plantation Village a great place to live, please let us know and we will reserve a spot for you.

If the date of the tour has come and gone, don’t worry, we can schedule a guided tour for you at a time that fits into your schedule. For more information, please call (910) 319-1416, or visit www.PlantationVillageRC.com.
