“I find the best startup entrepreneurs to put in front active angel investors in WALE with 12 regional investments since November of 2015 and then find venture capitalists who are interested in our portfolio of startups.”
 
Roberts uses technology every day. “My phone is permanently attached to my hand to respond very quickly to emails, texts, LinkedIn, media inquiries, startup event invites and tweets.”
 
Regularly reads summary emails from the Greater Wilmington Business Journal, WRAL TechWire and Business NC.
 
Favorite websites Roberts uses for work or pleasure include GrepBeat, Hypepotamus, LookFar and Dig South for regional startup news sources including Wilmington stories.
 
Enjoys watching The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz on ESPN, CBS Sunday Morning, Madam Secretary and Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown
 
Some favorite books include Crossing the Chasm by Geoffrey Moore and The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell.
