Senior digital account manager,
SISDigital
Kristin Walker wears many hats at SISDigital. “For the past two years, I was the sole online community manager for three national nonprofit organizations. This role involved the creation of all social media strategy/content for these organizations as well as the daily management of an audience of over 550,000!” Though most people think she just “plays on the internet all day.”
Her days revolve around social media, so she uses everything from Canva for graphic creation to Simply Measured for social analytics.
For news, she checks Feedly every morning for trending and industry news. “Included in my Feedly? Everything from TED Talks to Social Media Examiner.”
Favorite apps include Evernote (organization), Sprout Social (social media management) and Buddhify (meditation).
For gear, she loves her Apple watch. “I really enjoy the haptics for reminders and the activity tracker to make sure I’m getting up from the screen enough to live a healthy lifestyle.”
While her social feeds are filled with marketing tips and news, she still takes time to rave about the apps and tech she enjoys, recently tweeting her love for the Zoës Kitchen app, which awards free stuff just for taking pictures of your receipt.
