Anita Harrell’s company offers personal and small-group training aimed at improving fitness, health, wellness and quality of life.

“Technology is an integral part of my work-related and personal life daily. From the usage of software to run and sustain my business, to email and social media with which to interact with current and potential clients, to text messaging and other forms of communication with friends and loved ones near and far,” she says.

Go-to local publication: Encore Magazine online.

When she’s looking for “encapsulating and poignant talk,” she turns to TED Talks.

Favorite TV channels or shows: “I’m a die-hard Survivor fan and would love to be a participant on that show.” Other favorites on TV: Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder.

Currently reading Luvvie Ajayi’s book, I’m Judging You. “She’s a riot. I love her tenacity and unwillingness to apologize for demanding civility.”

Favorite recent movie: Wonder. “It’s tough to convert books into movies, but they did a great job on this one.”

App recommendations: Mindbody for business scheduling and POS. It also works for people looking for fitness facilities and classes, she says. She uses Runtastic as a guide for strength workouts and interval runs.
