Economic insider shows what's ahead

Former Federal Reserve official, Tom Simpson will give a talk on the U.S. economic recovery at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington on Nov. 3. His talk entitled, “Edging from the Abyss: Recovering from the Financial and Economic Crisis” will address what’s ahead for the financial system.

The author of Money, Banking, and Economic Analysis, Simpson is the executive in residence at the UNCW Cameron School of Business. He has consulted for the central banks of Russia and Iraq and served on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve system in Washington, D.C.

The talk will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3 in room 1008 of the Computer Information Systems building on the UNCW campus. Seating is limited.
