A local real estate company is partnering with the UNCW Entrepreneurship Center to find its first batch of interns.

Do Good Real Estate Company recently launched its ‘Do Good Intern’ contest with the goal of finding a group of UNCW students to learn the ins and outs when it comes to marketing in the real estate business.

“We really want to promote our business, and that’s what these interns are going to be tasked to do,” said Ryan Crecelius, owner and broker of Do Good Real Estate Company. “I’m excited to be working with UNCW to launch this first ever contest with them.”

Crecelius said his firm — which donates 20 percent of its real estate sale proceeds to area nonprofits — is looking for ambitious public relations, marketing and design students that will help the local real estate company develop and execute a “viral” marketing campaign.

He said the selected intern group would receive a $1,000 stipend.

The partnership is part of UNCW’s mission to provide real world experience for students before graduation by linking them with area businesses.

The deadline to apply for the contest is February 1.
