Two physicians, Hollis Moye Ray and Krishn Sharma, have joined New Hanover Regional Hospitalists, part of the NHRMC Physician Group.

Hospitalists are specialized physicians who focus on providing care for the hospitalized patient.

Ray specializes in the treatment of acutely ill hospitalized patients with the goal of providing excellent inpatient care followed by a smooth transition back to each patient’s primary care physician, according to a news release. She recently completed her internal medicine residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center after earning her medical degree from East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine. She is board certified in internal medicine.

Sharma earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in internal medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine with a special interest in patient education and nurse-physician communication.
