Wilmington Health To Open New Office In Mayfaire

By Vicky Janowski, posted Sep 11, 2012

Wilmington Health plans to open a primary care office Oct. 1 in Mayfaire Town Center.

The office will be located at 6752 Parker Farm Drive, Unit 1B-2,  behind the Harris Teeter. Internal medicine physicians Sandra Brannin and George Sylvestri will move their practices from 1202 Medical Center Drive to the new location, according to a press release from the practice.

“Our goal with this expansion is to provide patients primary care closer to their homes and work,” Jeff James, Wilmington Health’s CEO said in a statement. “That’s why we have chosen to add a new primary care location in Mayfaire Town Center.”

As internists, Brannin and Sylvestri diagnose and treat non-surgical illnesses in adults, attending to patients’ primary healthcare needs including health examinations and preventive services as well as addressing acute illnesses.

Brannin has a special interest in hypertension, dyslipidemia and diabetes as well as experience in women’s health; Sylvestri has a special interest in general internal medicine, the release stated.
