Wilmington Health Adds Pulmonary, Allergy Physicians

Wilmington Health Pulmonary and Allergy recently announced the hiring of David Green and Daniel Breault.

As pulmonologists, Green and Breault diagnose and treat pulmonary conditions such as chronic bronchitis, emphysema and asthma. They also are member’s of the practice’s critical care team at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, according to a press release.

“Dr. Green is bringing his solid academic experience to our team. His educational background and enthusiasm for pulmonary medicine make him an ideal fit,” Wilmington Health CEO Jeff James said in a statement. “And Dr. Breault has completed extensive research in pulmonary and critical care. He will enhance the pulmonary and allergy team with his knowledge of the most up-to-date treatments in these fields.”

Green received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Central Florida and earned his doctorate from Escuela Autonoma de Ciencias Medicas. He did his internship and residency in internal medicine at Upstate Medical University and his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.

Breault received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from University of Minnesota–Twin Cities and earned his doctorate from University of Wisconsin Medical School. He completed his residency in internal medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University and his fellowship in pulmonary, allergy and critical care at Duke University Medical Center.
