NHRMC Gets Two New Doctors For Physician Group

Dr. Robert A. Bennett is now part of the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Physician Group, hospital officials said.

Bennett is a board-certified urologist and was fellowship-trained in pediatric urology. He is a specialty fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and offers high-quality care for pediatric and adult patients, officials said.

Bennett’s practice is located at 2512 Delaney Ave. in Wilmington.

He offers treatment for a variety of urologic conditions, including urinary incontinence, kidney stone disease, childhood genitourinary disease, prostate cancer and no-scalpel vasectomies.

Bennett’s clinical interests include pediatric urologic surgery, bedwetting and urinary tract infections in infants and children.

Bennett completed his undergraduate education at Chicago Medical School and performed his residency at Albert Einstein Center of Medicine in New York. He also completed a fellowship in pediatric urology at Duke University Medical Center and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Bennett has practiced in New Hanover and Brunswick counties for more than 12 years and is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. Peter G. Kramer, of Wrightsville Beach Family Medicine, recently joined the New Hanover Regional Medical Center
Physician Group.

Kramer is a board-certified physician who has offered a complete range of care for patients of all ages since 2001. His clinical interests include hypertension and the management of diabetes.

Following medical school at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, Kramer completed his residency through University of North Carolina School of Medicine, at Coastal Family Medicine in Wilmington.

Wrightsville Beach Family Medicine is located at 1721 Allen’s Lane, Suite 100, in Wilmington. Kramer is accepting new patients. He offers comprehensive family medicine, including physicals, pap and pelvic exams, osteopathic manipulation and care for skin lesions.
