Wilmington Health Assoc. Expands Urology Services

Wilmington Health Associates now offers urological consultations in the Porter’s Neck area at Wilmington Health Family Medicine, 8108 Market St.

Dr. Greg Drake will offer the urological consultations. He will continue to see patients at his current location in central Wilmington at 2421 Silver Stream Drive.

“At Wilmington Health we understand how important it is to offer convenient and quality care patients needing urology consultations and evaluations,” spokeswoman Heather Van Pelt said in a prepared statement.

Van Pelt said that traditionally, urologic specialty care is available closer to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, requiring residents of Hampstead, Holly Ridge and Jacksonville an additional commute to receive services.

“Dr. Drake’s expanded offices, to include Porter’s Neck, will now ensure patients more convenience of quality care,” she said.

Drake is a board-certified urologist. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and completed his residency program at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
