First Bank has named Zachary Adams its retail market manager and vice president of its eastern region, according to a news release.

He started with First Bank over four years ago as branch manager at the bank's Porters Neck branch, officials said.

In his new role, Adams provides leadership, marketing and training support to the branch network, the release stated.

Adams is originally from Sterling Heights, Michigan and attended Central Michigan University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration.
