Two local homebuilders will have their work highlighted on popular nationally syndicated television shows.
A Wilmington-based Fogleman Associates Inc., a high-end luxury custom homes builder with more than 40 years of market experience in the greater Wilmington market, will be featured NBC’s “Today’s Builder” TV show, according to a recent news release.
“Today’s Builder” highlights builders and developers across the country and documents the design and make of their homes and the areas they build in, and provides client testimonials, the news release said.
Fogleman Associates Inc. currently builds homes in Landfall, Brunswick Forest, Magnolia Greens Plantation and the Country Club of Porters Neck.
The 30-minute show will air for six consecutive weeks starting at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1 on WECT-TV News Channel 6, according to the news release.
Meanwhile, Carolina Beach-based Tidal Wave Construction will be featured on the DIY (Do It Yourself) Network reality series called “Raising House,” a television series that will chronicle the construction of a New Hanover couple’s “dream home” from start to finish in Carolina Beach, according to DIY network’s website.
As part of the segment set to air this fall, the homebuyers meet with an architect and builder to lay out the floor plan for their new home, select a construction approach and outline the features before breaking ground on the home, according to DIY’s website. Meanwhile, a design team selects the interior elements of the home before the residence is completed and revealed.
