Our region has seen some recent economic development victories like the arrival of Vertex Rail and Acme Smoked Fish and some defeats, particularly the loss of film incentives. New Hanover County and the City of Wilmington are also starting to implement a major economic development initiative following the Garner Report. On March 12, our panel will talk about where we’re at and what we need to do to attract more businesses and jobs to our region.
