Made: Powering Up Across Industries

By Staff Reports, posted Feb 9, 2018

Feller LLC, 9100 Industrial Blvd. NE in Leland

Top local official: Gregor Kysely, president & CEO

Number of employees: 68

Year founded: Founded in the United States in 1984; parent company founded in 1863 in Austria

Products made: Power cords

What made the company decide to make its goods locally? National Sales Manager Nate Evans: “Feller LLC moved from New Jersey about 12 years ago. Leland was ultimately chosen as the new location based on the availability of land, better tax environment for small business and the draw of the beach, weather and uniqueness of the downtown Wilmington area.”

Target market? Evans: “Enterprise-level IT, networking and data center companies, medical equipment manufacturers, high-end audio equipment manufacturers”

What’s next? Evans: “Finishing our manufacturing area expansion – we have doubled the square footage of our production area over the last year – [and] launching our online store.”
