The Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors (WRAR) and the North Carolina Association of Realtors (NCAR) has announced the re-election of real estate agents Faye Brock of Century 21 Brock and Associates and Patrice Willetts of Network Real Estate as directors during the 2010 NC Realtors election. The results for the NC Realtors 2010 election were announced during the the NCAR 2009 Convention Expo in Savannah, Ga.

Paul Blalock recently was named business banker for the Wilmington
market for Wachovia. In this role, Blalock will provide sound financial advice, solutions, and outstanding service to local businesses. Blalock joined Wachovia in 2004 as a financial specialist.
 
WellCare LLC has announced the addition of Nikki Knotts as the Director of Business Development and Public Relations to their Senior Management team.  Knotts joins the team with experience in broadcast, advertising, corporate communications and public relations; and is the co-author of several business books.

WK Dickson & Co.’s Daniel E. Dawson, vice president and Director of Urban Design, recently was named a Fellow by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) and the Professional Engineers of North Carolina (PENC). The Fellow recognition program honors active NSPE and PENC members who have demonstrated exemplary service to the organizations, the engineering profession and the community.

Fisher & Co. CPAs appointed J. Lee Martin II as managing partner.  Martin will oversee individual and business tax operations, business consulting and other financial services for the firm.

The Wilmington-based financial services firm, Old North State Wealth Management, has appointed Meg M. George as Wealth Operations Manager. George is a Certified Financial Planner and the firm’s chief compliance officer. The company also announced that Michael Boggio has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of New Hanover Regional Medical Center.  Boggio is currently the senior wealth manager and the chief investment officer with Old North State Wealth Management.

The Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors (WRAR) recently announced the election of real estate agent Clinton Howlett, of Century 21 Brock and Associates, as a 2010 Director for the N.C. Chapter of Certified Residential Specialists (CRS).  This year’s election was held at the CRS General Membership Meeting in Savannah, Ga.

Home Instead Senior care recently graduated four additional caregivers from the company’s Alzheimer’s training program.  Graduates include Diana Allgauer, Sue Warden, Betty Stone and Gaily Joy.  The program includes comprehensive hands-on instruction with the latest in education and proven techniques to better serve the growing number of clients with Alzheimer’s disease.

The Wilmington Chapter for NAIFA, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, recently was awarded the Jack E. Bobo Award of Excellence for 2008-2009.
