Dosher Memorial Adds To Its Management Team

Dosher Memorial Hospital recently announced the hiring of three key staff members.

Kim York (left) was promoted to director of surgical services at Dosher Memorial Hospital. York was the acting director the past four months. She has worked in surgical services for 11 years, including three years at Dosher.

Previously, York worked in surgical services for Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska, and University of Kentucky-Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington.

York holds two certifications from the Competency and Credentialing Institute: certified nurse operating room and certified surgical service management. She earned a bachelor of science in nursing degree from East Carolina University and a master of science degree from Western Kentucky University.

Brandon Hughes also was recently named the new finance director at Dosher.

Hughes joins Dosher from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where he worked since 2014, He has 11 years of experience in health care finance and earned master of science and bachelor of science degrees from ECU. Hughes is a certified public accountant and a certified health care financial professional.

And Dosher named Robert Hoover (left) as the hospital’s revenue cycle director. He has worked in health care for 40 years and joins Dosher from Cambridge, Pennsylvania, where he worked for Meadville Medical Center Health System the past six years.

Hoover earned a master of public health degree in health care financial management from the University of Pittsburgh and a bachelor of science degree in hospital administration from Pennsylvania State University. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
