By Cece Nunn, posted Sep 9, 2020

A few weeks ago, school started for college students across North Carolina as the coronavirus pandemic continued, and subsequently, COVID-19 clusters began showing up on campuses.

At the University of North Carolina Wilmington, 250 positive cases among students had been reported as of Wednesday morning, according to the school's COVID-19 dashboard. Five cases had been reported among faculty and staff.

On Wednesday's BizTalk, UNCW Chancellor Jose Sartarelli discussed what led to UNCW's decision to welcome students back for the fall semester and how the university is coping with COVID-19, including using dorm space to quarantine students who are affected.
