The economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic is expected to affect state and local governments for the foreseeable future.

On Tuesday's BizTalk, North Carolina's State Treasurer Dale Folwell discussed federal CARES Act funds that have come to North Carolina and the financial strain local governments are expected to face because of the drop in tax revenues.

He shared his take on the local issue of a potential new partner or owner of New Hanover Regional Medical Center and also spoke about his own bout of COVID-19, from which he has recovered.
