Open For Business: New Announcements (Sept. 25)

Businesses have continued announcing openings after Hurricane Florence had forced closures in the days before and after. Below is a running list of some of those locations. To see a full list of opening announcements, click here.

Banks and Credit Unions

• CresCom Bank, 4710 Oleander Drive, is open, drive-through only, 8:30 a.m.– 5 p.m.  Lobby is closed until further notice.

Business Services

• Coworx, a coworking space at 1608 Queen St. in Wilmington, is offering day passes for $8 (normally $25) through the end of October as people and places get back on their feet after the storm. "Our space is equipped with fiber internet, coffee, water, beer, fridge, microwave, and cool art by Dallas Clarke Thomas," a Coworx post on Facebook stated.


Construction Services

• Seegars Fence Co. Inc. of New Hanover County at 2954 Orville Wright Way reopened Monday "after finally getting power back over the weekend." Phone; (910) 343-8246; Hours: 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday. Website: www.seegarsfence.com

• Strickland's Blinds, Shades Shutters & Home Organization, 5422 Oleander Drive, is open for business.
