NCino Aligns With Deloitte Digital For Market Expansion

By Jenny Callison, posted May 12, 2015
As nCino markets its Bank Operating System increasingly to larger banks, a new relationship is poised to enhance that market expansion globally. The Wilmington banking software company announced Tuesday that Deloitte Digital, a digital consulting agency within Deloitte Consulting LLP, will implement the software in working with its banking and financial clients all over the world.

Deloitte Digital has created what it calls an nCino Delivery Center of Excellence, which will enhance Deloitte Digital’s existing global Salesforce.com alliance and complement the agency’s existing portfolio of services, according to a news release. nCino’s Bank Operating System is built on the Salesforce platform.

“Deloitte will operate its nCino Delivery Center of Excellence using its network of North American and Global delivery centers,” nCino CEO Pierre Naudé said in an email Tuesday. “Deloitte expects to grow its nCino Delivery Center of Excellence to the scale required to support the largest financial institutions in the world. To do this, they will draw talent from their 30,000-person-strong technology practice. Deloitte is committed to growing its scale ahead of market demands and will invest to ensure a deep pool of experts are available to support nCino clients.”

The consulting agency will use the Bank Operating System, which combines loan origination functions with customer relationship management, business process workflows and reporting dashboards, to “advance innovation and accelerate business transformation” and increase efficiencies for its financial industry clients, the release stated.

Deloitte has “seen the positive impact [nCino’s] technology can make on bank operations,” said Dounia Lievan, director of Deloitte Consulting and banking lead for Deloitte Digital, in the release.

“As [nCino] continues to move upmarket into regional, super-regional and global banks, Deloitte is positioned to be a part of that growth through investment in our new nCino Delivery Center of Excellence and our selection as a preferred systems integrator,” she said.

By way of explanation, Naudé said that financial institutions look to system integrators [SI] for their banking expertise and “understanding of innovative, industry-specific service and product offerings.”

“nCino researches its SI partners carefully to ensure each SI partner has the domain expertise, understanding of the nCino Bank Operating System, and the same values, as well as a firm understanding of the Salesforce.com platform. Deloitte’s practice embodies all of these traits and much more,” he said.

“Overall,” Naudé continued, “we feel today’s announcement and the launch of the nCino Delivery Center of Excellence with Deloitte Digital highlights the continued growth of our commercialization efforts and the strong impact our Bank Operating System is already having in the marketplace.”
