Park Sterling Bank’s Port City headquarters will soon have a new address.
The Wilmington bank will occupy 4,200 square feet of office space in the former Cooperative Bank building, 3701 Shipyard Blvd., according to Hill Rogers, a principal broker with Wilmington-based Cameron Management Inc. who brokered the long-term lease agreement with Park Sterling Bank.
Park Sterling Bank currently occupies space in the Progress Point retail development near the intersection of Eastwood and Military Cutoff roads, and will occupy space once owned by the now-defunct Cooperative Bank location.
Rogers said the bank will renovate the space with plans to open the new headquarters by this fall.
It’s unclear whether the bank will continue leasing space at the Progress Point development. Calls to Park Sterling Bank were not returned Friday afternoon.
