New Hanover County residents looking to shape up their finances while waiting for their tax return are invited to attend free financial workshops.
Presented by the Society of Financial Awareness, the events will feature various professionals in finance, tax, real estate, mortgage and wellness, and estate planning. SOFA’s workshops will bring awareness to risk management, investment opportunities and tax savings.
All sessions are hosted by New Hanover County and will be facilitated by Melissa Hunt, certified estate planner and president of the local SOFA. Residents and business interested in attending any of the sessions, should contact Lloyd Prince at 798-7203 or via email at [email protected] to reserve a seat. The one-hour education programs will be held at the New Hanover County Government Center and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
