Block, Crouch, Keeter, Behm & Sayed in Wilmington recently announced its newest associate, Samantha C. Jackson.
Jackson focuses her practice on family law matters, including cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution and domestic violence. She has a special interest in cases impacted by domestic violence.
Jackson completed an externship with the Office of the Federal Public Defender and participated in UNC’s Domestic and Sexual Violence Clinic. She has insight acquired through the Trauma Informed Lawyering clinic.
Jackson grew up in a small town near Charlotte. She attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington for her undergraduate degree and law school at UNC Chapel Hill, While at Chapel Hill, she interned at firms that included James, McElroy & Diel and Pinnacle Law, where she gained experience in family law, criminal law, and estate planning.
Jackson also interned at Block, Crouch, Keeter, Behm & Sayed in the family law section prior to graduation.
Before becoming an attorney, Jackson enjoyed acting and has won awards, including Best Actress in North Carolina from the North Carolina Theatre Conference. When she is not working, she enjoys hiking with her husband.
