Local Homebuilders Honored By State Group

The N.C. Home Builders Association presented nearly 80 prestigious STARS awards at the annual STARS Awards Gala on Sept. 22 at the Omni Charlotte Hotel in Charlotte. 

Among the recipients of numerous awards were the Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association and members of the WCFHBA, as well as the Brunswick Home Builders Association in some cases.

The STARS Awards program honors the achievements of home building industry professionals from across North Carolina.

The local winners were: 
  • Sales Professional of the Year: Ahmad Noura of D.R. Horton
  • Online Sales Counselor of the Year: Karen Evans of D.R. Horton
  • Mortgage Professional of the Year: Patrick Stoy of MC Mortgage Company
  • Marketing Professional of the Year: Ram Gabriel of D.R. Horton
  • Superintendent of the Year: Chris Childress of D.R. Horton
  • Best New Homes Publication: Logan Homes – Living Logan
  • Best Website for a Builder or Developer: Bill Clark Homes & Legacy Homes by Bill Clark
  • Best Video or Radio Project: Logan Homes
  • Best Interior Merchandising for a Model Home 2,501 to 4,000 Square Feet: Legacy Homes by Bill Clark
  • Best One-Of-A-Kind Home: Sterling Custom Construction for The Mobius House
  • Best HBA Marketing or Communication: Wilmington-Cape Fear HBA for Showcase of New Homes
  • Best HBA Educational Program: Wilmington-Cape Fear HBA for The Construction Connection
  • Best Government Affairs Initiative: Wilmington-Cape Fear HBA for The Construction Connection
