Alicia Devereaux, a 17-year veteran of the Cape Fear region real estate industry, has joined Nest Realty of Wilmington as a broker.

She specializes in residential, second-home and investment property sales and will operate out of Nest Realty’s Carolina Beach office at 112 Cape Fear Blvd., according to a news release.

"Not only does Nest’s client-centered approach align perfectly with my business philosophy, but we also share the same work ethic, sense of community, and business values. Nest takes a progressive stance on providing their agents with the very best in terms of tools, technology, marketing and support ... I’m particularly impressed with Nest Realty’s team approach to doing business," Devereaux said in the release.

Added Ryan Crecelius, principal broker of Nest Realty, said Devereaux "is a consummate professional with an incredible track record in the Cape Fear region market. She has a vast knowledge of the local market, and a stellar reputation as a strong advocate for her clients.”

Prior to joining Nest Realty, Devereaux worked for Intracoastal Realty. During her tenure there, Devereaux was a top producer and one of the leading agents in the firm’s Carolina Beach office. In 2016, she was named Cape Fear Realtors Sales Associate of the Year.

Prior to becoming a real estate broker in 2004, Devereaux worked in the field of clinical psychology, helping children with special needs. She also worked as a wedding photographer for 13 years.
