Drew Espy has joined MoMentum Companies Inc., according to a news release.

Espy has 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has been involved in the Espy family business peripherally assisting in a general capacity, officials said in the release.

Terry Espy, Drew Espy's mother, owns the Wilmington-based brokerage and real estate company.

“I have raised my sons in commercial development and brokerage and made them aware that the door is always open to them if they were willing to work hard, help others to reach their goals and do good for the community. I am so proud that Drew has made his commitment to MoMentum Companies and the City of Wilmington,” Terry Espy said in the release.

Drew Espy is the youngest of her three sons and is the second to pass the brokerage requirements to join the business, stated the release. He has completed the N.C. Real Estate Commission state requirements and most recently became a member of the National Association of Realtors.

He relocated from Raleigh to the Wilmington area four years ago, when he assumed management responsibilities of MoMentum's properties and short-term rentals, stated the release.
