Marty Lanier has earned an Accredited Land Consultant Designation, according to an announcement from the Realtors Land Institute.

Lanier is an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) with Mossy Oak Properties/Land and Farms Realty with the Lake Waccamaw office. He specializes in farmland, recreational properties and timberland, and covers sales across North and South Carolina, including properties in the Cape Fear region.

"lt is an incredible honor to hold the ALC Designation. I am very proud to join the ranks of the most elite land professionals in the country,” Lanier said in the release.

As an ALC, Lanier has access to industry knowledge, and through RLl's Land University, he has gained expertise through a land real estate education program that offers educational courses and webinars for land professionals, stated the release.

“Lanier is now among the most dedicated land professionals from around the globe, joining an elite group of over 500 land specialists who hold the designation across the globe,” officials stated in the release. “The Realtors Land Institute confers the Accredited Land Consultant Designation only to its members who meet the rigorous knowledge, sales volume, and experience requirements.”
