WB Brawley was awarded the Summit Organizational Award at a federal construction event in Wilmington.

The Wilmington-based firm received the award at the 2019 Southeast Regional Federal Construction, Infrastructure & Environmental Summit Conference hosted by the offices of U.S. Sens. Richard Burr and Thom Tillis, who represent North Carolina, and the N.C. Military Business Center (NCMBC), according to a news release. The conference was held in October.

One company from the more than 750 attendees each year is awarded the Summit Organizational Award for “exceptional service, meritorious achievement and conspicuous innovation in the federal construction, infrastructure, energy and environmental marketplace,” stated the release.

WB Brawley, founded in 1992, is a commercial construction, design and project management company specializing in military contracts.

“The Summit Award is an extraordinary honor for WB Brawley,” Chris Nesselroade, president of WB Brawley, said in the release. “We are honored and humbled to be recognized among some of the best and brightest in our industry, and are particularly grateful to all of our employees, contractors and suppliers for making this award possible.”
