Brunswick Commissioners Elect Leaders

The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners has elected its chair and vice-chair for 2020, according to a news release.

Commissioners have re-elected Frank Williams as the board's chair. Randy Thompson was also re-elected vice-chair. The board elected the leaders by a unanimous vote.

Williams, a Brunswick County native, is president of Pioneer Strategies, a public relations and strategic communication agency, and co-owner of Pioneer Specialties, a promotional products distributorship, according to the county. He currently serves as first vice president of the N.C. Association of County Commissioners.

Thompson (right) lives in Sunset Beach and has served on several state and national committees, according to the county. He also served for several years on the National Association of Counties board.
