Two Lawyers Join Board Of Trial Advocates

Two lawyers in the Wilmington office of Cranfill, Sumner & Hartzog LLP have been invited to join the American Board of Trial Advocates, according to a news release.

John D. Martin and Colleen Shea have joined the board, which is a prestigious national association comprised of experienced trial lawyers and judges, stated the release. Membership with the American Board of Trial Advocates is by invitation only.

“Receiving an invitation to join the American Board of Trial Advocates recognizes an attorney’s experience, reputation and dedication to the legal profession. John Martin and Colleen Shea are respected attorneys who demonstrate our firm’s core values and tireless dedication to their clients. We congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition,” said Marshall Wall, managing partner of CSH Law, in the release.

Martin (above), a trial lawyer who serves as managing partner of the firm's Wilmington office and co-chair of its medical malpractice practice group, practices in the medical malpractice and professional liability defense practice groups, stated the release. He has tried cases in Eastern North Carolina.

Colleen Shea (left), a litigator with more than 20 years of experience, is a member of the firm’s medical malpractice, premises liability and professional liability practice groups, stated the release. She practices in the defense of catastrophic injury cases and health care malpractice.
