Lori Harris, managing partner at Harris Whitesell Consulting, has been accepted into Forbes Coaches Council, according to a news release.

The group is by invitation only. Harris was selected by a review committee based on her experience, officials stated in the release.

“We are honored to welcome Lori Harris into the community,” said Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils (the collective that includes Forbes Coaches Council), in the release.

“Our mission with Forbes Councils is to bring together proven leaders from every industry, creating a curated, social capital-driven network that helps every member grow professionally and make an even greater impact on the business world," he added.

Harris will have access to a variety of opportunities and to business service partners through the council. She will also be invited to work with an editorial team to share insights in business articles on Forbes.com, stated the release.

“I am excited and honored to be a member of the Forbes Coaching Council. I look forward to creating value, growth and opportunity within the Forbes Coaching Council community and further cementing my leadership role in my community and industry,” Harris said in the release.
