Koenigsknecht Assumes Marketing Role At Wilmington Chamber Of Commerce

Michelle Koenigsknecht is the newest member of the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce staff, according to a news release from the chamber. Koenigsknecht has been hired as director of marketing and communications.

In this role, she is responsible for the branding, advertising, and messaging strategy of the chamber, chamber foundation, and Cape Fear Future Foundation.

“We are excited to welcome Michelle to the team,” Natalie English, president and CEO of the chamber, said in the release. “Her expertise in digital marketing, social media, and B2B strategy will allow us to continue to advocate for the Cape Fear Region’s business growth in the digital age.”

Koenigsknecht comes to the chamber with seven years’ experience in marketing and advertising, the release stated. Most recently, she was a senior account manager at Wilmington-based Tayloe/Gray marketing agency. There she worked with the chamber on the Choose Cape Fear campaign website development. She is a graduate of the Elon University School of Communications.
