Pender County Promotes HR Staffer

Pender County officials have announced the promotion of Brittany Kelly from human resources technician to HR/risk management specialist.

Kelly, a Wilmington native, holds two degrees from University of North Carolina Wilmington, according to a Pender County news release. She earned a bachelor's degree in communication studies in 2012 and a master's degree in conflict management resolution in 2016.

“Brittany has been working in the Pender County Human Resources Department for almost two years, is a member of The Society of Human Resources Management, and has earned an HR Assistant Certification,” Jennifer Kimler, the county's human resources director, said in the release.
