Pine Valley Construction Named 2018 Vendor Of The Year

By Christina Haley O'Neal, posted Feb 19, 2019
Pine Valley Construction has received the Wilmington Apartment Associations’ Vendor of the Year Award for 2018, according to a news release.

The award was presented to the firm in late January at the associations' annual Crest Awards Dinner, officials said.

“We are truly honored and humbled to be recognized by the apartment association, it means a lot to us. We value our customers and their business. We are grateful to be given the award and continue to service the multi-family communities in the greater Wilmington area in the wake of Hurricane Florence, as the rebuilding continues," said Kevin Smith, president of Pine Valley Construction, a Wilmington-based commercial construction company.

The September hurricane caused much damage to the apartment market last year, Krysti Keser, regional manager for Carroll Management, said in the release.

She oversees the operation of five apartment communities, stated the release.

"Pine Valley Construction was available at the drop of a hat – offering top-notch work in a timely manner and without them, I honestly don’t know how we would survive," she added.

Pine Valley Construction works with more than 300 local vendors on a yearly basis to service clients, according to the release.
