Attorney, Seaview Crab Co. Co-owner Appointed To State Committees

Two Wilmington-area professionals have been appointed to state committees.

Gov. Roy Cooper appointed Doug Fox as a public member of the N.C. Real Estate Commission, according to a news release.

Fox is an attorney at Yow, Fox & Mannen LLP. He is a former board member of the N.C. State Ports Authority and the Winter Park Optimist Board of Directors, officials said.

The governor also appointed Sam Romano as a commercial fisherman to the Marine Fisheries Commission, stated the release.

Romano is co-owner and co-founder of Seaview Crab Co., which has several locations in the Wilmington area.
