By Christina Haley O'Neal, posted Apr 17, 2018

LS3P was honored with four awards at the 2018 Carolinas Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Design Excellence Awards Gala, according to a news release.

LS3P’s design for BoomTown’s corporate headquarters, a 60,000 square foot adaptive reuse project in Charleston, South Carolina, which transformed a vacant warehouse into a contemporary workplace, won first place in the “corporate over 7,000 SF” category, officials said.

In Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Horry-Georgetown Technical College’s new International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach (designed in association with Mozingo + Wallace Architects LLC) serves as an iconic gateway building for the campus and won first place in the “institutional” category.

Riley Park Club at RiverDogs Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina, won second place in the “singular space” category.  Sky Garden in Charleston, a 94-unit student apartment complex with rooftop garden and skyline views, received an honorable mention in the “multi-unit residence” category.

The honors were given during the annual event, which was held in Charlotte. LS3P, founded in 1963, is an architecture, interior and planning firm with regional roots.
