Coastal Shield Insurance Welcomes Team Member

By Christina Haley O'Neal, posted Mar 6, 2018
Misty White
Coastal Shield Insurance, an independent insurance agency in Wilmington offering home, auto and life insurance products, has welcomed Misty White to its team.

Before getting into insurance, White had a background in the medical field with more than 20 years of experience with medical insurance, billing and finance, according to officials. She worked at N.C. Farm Bureau with Anna Brothers for nearly a year before Brothers opened up Coastal Shield Insurance, White said.

“We have been a dynamic duo from the first day we met. Forming a personal, one on one relationship with all my clients is very important to me. In a day where technology has taken over; I want to bring the ‘personal’ back to Personal Lines Insurance,” White said.

White moved to the Wilmington area from Greensboro three years ago.

“I have a son with Asperger’s and I couldn’t find a high school that would meet his needs in the Triad. I found Pathways of Middle and High School of Wilmington by chance and moved that summer. My son is graduating this year,” she said.

Brothers said she is excited to have White join the Coastal Shield Insurance team.

“Misty is a great agent specializing in home and auto insurance. She has always gone over and above for clients with her sparkly, sunny personality. We’re so happy to have her ... ,” Brothers said.
