Markraft Cabinets Inc. has announced that experienced remodeling contractor and former employee Jim Bauer has returned to the locally-owned company to fill a new role as director of remodeling sales.

Before opening his own business in 2007, Bauer worked at Markraft for 14 years in various positions, according to a news release.

Now, back with the company, he brings an even greater wealth of knowledge and expertise to help clients and designers bring their creative visions to life, officials said in the release.

As part of his position, Bauer also oversees management of remodeling projects for customers that do not have a general contractor, working as a liaison between homeowners, contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget, officials said in the release.

“We are excited to welcome Jim back to Markraft, and even more thrilled for our clients, who will have direct access to an on-staff remodeling expert,” said Cee Edwards, president of Markraft Cabinets, in the release.
