Environmental Consulting Firm Hires Amy Conchas

Atlantic Shores Environmental Services Ltd. has a new senior project manager. 

Amy Conchas brings over 18 years of professional environmental consulting experience to her new role at Atlantic Shores Environmental Services, according to a news release from the Leland-based environmental consulting firm.

Conchas has worked throughout North Carolina and has been performing environmental consulting in Wilmington and the eastern Carolina market since 2005. She holds a bachelor's degree in natural resources from the University of the South.

Conchas has performed hundreds of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments followed by Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, UST closures, soil and groundwater assessments, remediation and regulatory consulting to coordinate and negotiate the appropriate assessment and remediation to obtain regulatory closure, the release stated.

Conchas has also performed asbestos assessment and mold assessments for more than 15 years. She is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Cape Fear chapter.

Her certifications include N.C. Asbestos Inspector, S.C. Asbestos Inspector, N.C. Lead Inspector, N.C. Well Driller and HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response).
