NHRMC Physician Group has added Darshan D. Dave to the New Hanover Medical Group practice at its Brunswick Forest location.
 
Dave specializes in internal medicine and was most recently a resident physician at NHRMC.
 
“We look forward to having Dr. Dave as part of our team and his expertise will be a wonderful addition to the Brunswick County community as we continue to meet the growing needs of the region,” said Jeffrey Warhaftig, president of New Hanover Medical Group, in a news release. “He will help us continue our mission as we provide a high standard of compassionate care to our patients.”
 
Dave earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and his medical degree from the Windsor University School of Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies. Since 2015, Dave has volunteered as a primary care provider at the St. Mary Health Center to provide free health care for residents of New Hanover and surrounding counties who are uninsured.
 
Dave lives in Wilmington, and he and his wife are expecting their second child this fall.
